Volunteer Impact Pathways

Advocacy and
Awareness-raising

Carry out online and offline campaigns, workshops, publications, and events to encourage active citizenship and drive mobilization for impact action towards the creation of a sustainable future.

Decision-making and
Policy Development

Participate in and spearhead large-scale online consultations at the national level that are meant to provide a sense of the issues of concern to youth; engage in the establishment of youth advisory boards for government entities, youth parliaments, to facilitate the establishment of a youth-led and youth-serving group to strengthen young people’s engagement in policymaking and community advocacy at the grassroots level.

Capacity
Building

Promote peer-to-peer learning and training; engage in the planning and delivery of workshops and campaigns to provide a youth perspective on national sustainable development discussions; facilitate training and support to policymakers and government officials in their efforts to integrate youth policies and participation into public planning processes.

Data Collection &
Generation/Production

Contribute towards data collection and analysis to help provide a more robust and comprehensive picture of community-based development efforts; establish direct contact with communities to facilitate the collection and use of quantitative and qualitative data at the local level in order to supplement official data and statistics and contribute to the monitoring of development impact progress

Monitoring &
Accountability

Facilitate independent auditing mechanisms to monitor and track the implementation, spending and progress of community-based initiatives; and support co-management structures for program accountability structures.
